What kind of slats can be used with my mattress?

If you are putting your mattress on a wooden slat bed frame please ensure that slats are at least 6cm wide with no more than 8cm between the gaps in the slats. Slats MUST BE FLAT. Using your mattress on curved slats may produce unpredictable effects on your mattress due to variations in tension and support and may VOID your warranty.

We do not recommend putting your mattress on a metal wire support base or bed frame as there is often not enough surface area in contact with the mattress to support the spring system sufficiently.

We recommend customers to not put their mattress directly on the floor as this will cause moisture to be trapped underneath and possibly the growth of mildew.

If your bed has broken slats, it is a lot easier to just buy a solid bed base. It is very hard if not impossible to chase down the original slats that come with your bed frame as most suppliers do not sell replacement slats.
